The Dawn Series £50pp
Our team all grew up learning about the Norfolk Broads.
We pond dipped, watched tadpoles grow and learnt the names of the birds that call these waterways home. As we've grown older, our understanding of this remarkable landscape has grown too.
With children of our own, protecting these wild places for future generations feels more important than ever.
What many people don't realise is that the Norfolk Broads are more than beautiful waterways. They are one of the UK's most important wetland landscapes and play a vital role in storing carbon, supporting wildlife and helping our environment remain healthy.
Carbon might not be something you can see as you paddle along the river, but it is one of the most powerful and least understood stories of the Broads.
Keeping our wetlands wet is one of the quietest yet most effective forms of climate action we have.
The Dawn Series was created to share that story.
Join us as the Broads awaken around us. We'll paddle through the stillness of the early morning, watch the first light creep across the reedbeds and experience the river at its most peaceful.
Along the way we'll explore the hidden role these wetlands play in capturing carbon, supporting biodiversity and protecting the landscapes we love.
Halfway through our journey we'll pause for refreshment while taking in the sights and sounds of a river that feels worlds away from everyday life.
This isn't a lecture. It's a chance to slow down, reconnect with nature and discover a side of the Norfolk Broads that few people ever get to experience.
A two-hour guided paddle at dawn (ish).
Coffee, conversation and a fresh perspective on one of Britain's most important wetland landscapes.
